"HEIGHTS BOMBERS"
This page is dedicated to one of the greatest football organizations
in our area
in youth football. These "Bombers" were just that....BOMBERS
! They were
one of the original teams from the Burnham YMCA Midget Football
League.
From the information I gathered so far, the "Bombers" won the
League Champ-
ionship 5 straight years - '68 / '69 / '70 / '71/ '72.
Now don't hold me to this, it might
be more. They say, "this team was like the Green Bay Packers
of old", right Gill.
Plenty more information will becoming soon, this team was only
in existence from
the early '60s until 1972.
