Juniata Valley Football League

League Meeting Minutes, 31 July 2002 at 8:30pm, Terrace Community Building.

OLD ISSUES :

All JVFL teams have the 13 rostered by the end of July to participate in the 2002 season.

Rosters will remain open until August 13, however the organizations do not have to advertise.

The JVFL will have 4 teams in the Flag Football League this season. 3 teams from the

Indian Valley School District and 1 from Lewistown. Rules and Schedules were distributed to the

League and Coaches. Coaches for the Flag teams will be as follows : Mark Hidlay-Lewistown, Chris

Wolfkill-IV White, Mike McClay-IV Red, Not yet determined-IV Black.

Stone Valley Bulldogs announced a new midget football coach for the 2002 season :

Chad Stinson (814) 667-2481

It was voted unanimous, there will be no divisions in the League this season. There will 

be a regular season champion, any ties (head to head or points allowed). All teams will make the play-

offs this season.

Eric Peters will coach the 2002 Lewistown Team in the Senior Bowl this season. The

Lewistown, Terrace and East Juniata coaches agreed.

All organizations were present for the League Meeting.

Outstanding fines : East Juniata - $250, Little Mingoes - $50, Stone Valley - $100.

NEW ISSUES :

Collect the 2002 Rosters from the organizations. Football rosters will be provided to all

coaches at the next League meeting.

Any schedule changes (PW, M or Flag)

TREASURERS REPORT :

Receipts : Restitution - $100, Tapes - $30, Kish - fines - $100, McVeytown - fines - $150,
